efficiency and safety of drugs. These may cause a reduction in size and number of doses, side effects, and biological inactivation and elimination. Also, the benefits may include lower toxicity and higher specificity of action This study includes the preparation of new polymers for chitosan by the interaction of chitosan with different drugs carrying carboxylic groups (cephalexin, ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin, mefenamic acid) after conversion into acid chloride derivatives and diagnosis of the resulting compounds using the FT-IR and HNMR spectrum.
