Also, the benefits may include lower toxicity and higher specificity of action This study includes the preparation of new polymers for chitosan by the interaction of chitosan with different drugs carrying carboxylic groups (cephalexin, ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin, mefenamic acid) after conversion into acid chloride derivatives and diagnosis of the resulting compounds using the FT-IR and HNMR spectrum.
