This research analyzes the relative acceptance rates of Digital Wallets, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), and Card Payments within the e-commerce industry, emphasizing disparities among significant demographic groups. Due to the rapid spread of digital technology and the growing use of mobile devices, how people like to pay for things is changing a lot. The study examines the impact of variables such as age, gender, income, education, and urban-rural background on the adoption of payment methods. The results show that UPI has become the most popular way to pay because it is fast, free, and safe, especially among young and middle-income people. Digital wallets are very popular with people who shop online a lot and look for deals, but older and wealthier users who are used to traditional banking systems still prefer to pay with cards. The research offers significant insights for e-commerce platforms, policymakers, and digital payment providers to customize strategies that improve user experience, promote financial inclusion, and foster payment innovation among various consumer demographics.
